Departmental Bike Program

Thanks to CommuterChoice, I ride a Departmental Bike to my morning work site on Oxford Street. I really enjoy the benefits of biking and the convenience of getting from one place to another without needing a car or looking for a parking space.

Overview

Purchase one Departmental Bike and receive a subsidy of $125. Purchase 2 or more Departmental Bikes and receive a subsidy of $300.

To facilitate your Departmental Bike purchase CommuterChoice will take care of the following:

• Order and deliver your bicycle(s) and accessories to your department
• Provide you with a General Agreement and Guidelines for Use of Harvard-Owned Bicycles for all participating cyclists to sign
• Coordinate regular bicycle maintenance through Quad Bikes
• Provide any other necessary guidance, such as how to establish a monitoring (checkin/out) system for the bike(s)
