Car sharing allows you to use a car when you need it with incurring the fixed costs of ownership. Car share makes cars available on a per-use basis. Think of it as a neighborhood-based car rental that allows you to use vehicles when needed (for as little as one hour), and pay based on how much you drive.
Individual Membership: Harvard faculty, staff and students 21 years and older can join Zipcar for the annual membership free of $25.
Departmental Membership Accounts: Need a car for work errands? Your department could set up a departmental account with Zipcar and save monthly, especially relative to taxi costs.
